Who We Are
Committed to nurturing the intellect, fortitude, and moral fiber of each student. Our foundational principles are grounded in the Catholic faith, love, compassion, and service to others.
Diversity and Inclusion
As educators, it is our responsibility to honor the distinct needs, talents, and capabilities of every student. Our inclusive environment fosters the growth and success of all ACA students within a supportive, diverse, and ever-evolving community that values excellence, fairness, and responsibility.
Character and Leadership Academy
The Leadership Academy equips our middle school students with the abilities and qualities to make conscientious decisions, timing, and motives. It is a distinctive program that harmonizes gospel values with Stephen Covey's Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens. Our program's objective is to furnish all middle school students with the necessary tools to become accomplished, ethical leaders both presently and in the days ahead.
Student Life
Our students thrive in diverse areas. Enriched extracurriculars, athletics, and electives foster creativity and talent. Community service, fundraisers, and support for our Diocesan mission in the Dominican Republic shape their character. Yearly spiritual retreats and a strong foundation in faith nurture their development as model citizens, preparing them for a successful future.
-
Faith Life
ACA provides a nurturing and supportive environment for children and families of all faiths, fostering spiritual and character development. At the heart of our curriculum is religious instruction, where students, irrespective of their religious affiliation or denomination, learn the truths and values of the Catholic faith.
-
Clubs & Activities
ACA provides an array of clubs and organizations for student and parent engagement. Each presents an avenue for students to enhance social skills while discovering diverse interests.
-
Athletics
Let’s GO STARS! Athletics holds significant importance in the lives of our students. To that end, we have joined forces with Catholic Youth Sports, offering competitive sports opportunities to our students.

After School Enrichment
Throughout the year after-school classes are offered in a variety of areas. The purpose of the classes is to allow students to explore new fields and enhance their existing interests. There are typically four sessions throughout the year with classes meeting once per week during the session. Activities vary each session. Some sessions have included: karate, golf, cheerleading, arts & crafts, photography, chess, and tennis.
Extended Care
As a service to parents, Annunciation Catholic Academy offers extended care before and after school each day. Morning care offers supervision to children arriving at school between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM. After school care is offered from the close of the school day until 6:00 PM. Prices are very reasonable and include an afternoon snack.
Innovative Learning
Annunciation Catholic Academy campus is located on Jamestown Boulevard, west of Montgomery Road, in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Four two-story buildings comprising more than 65,000 sq. ft. are configured around a central courtyard featuring a statue of Our Lady. A separate, fully air-conditioned gymnasium is located adjacent to the school.
The school has 22 classrooms; each features a special work area for students to pursue independent projects, work in small groups, or be tutored by a volunteer or teaching assistant. The school features dedicated classrooms for art, music, and Spanish instruction. The science center has both an instructional classroom and a dedicated science laboratory.
The school’s media center has a fully automated management system and catalog, a centralized media retrieval system, a video and radio production room, and a central reading room. The school also contains a “cafetorium” – a multi-purpose room used as both a cafeteria and an auditorium.
